Bio

Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Woods is from Salinas, California. In May 2025, she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting (magna cum laude) at Regent University in Virginia. Before earning her Master’s, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts & Technology (Cum laude) at California State University. Monterey Bay. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Gwen was busy working on her Associate of Arts degree in Performing Arts (Theater) and working on various commercial, film, and modeling roles. Her inspiration for fantastical stories comes from her love of Anime and K-dramas. Her love for writing began during the COVID-19 pandemic when her daughter asked her for input on a book she was working on, which led to Gwendolyn writing the book with her daughter. As a mother of five young adults, she values her family and love of God as a foundation in all that she does. Her goal is to use her talents by telling stories and to encourage older women and people of color to pursue their dreams.
